Anomaly shortlisted at the 2025 ABIA Awards

Something I’ve learned about releasing a book into the world is that you have to celebrate the highs when they come (and try your very best to commit the feeling to memory so you can draw on it the next time the blank page is kicking your butt. Which it will. Often).

With that in mind, I’m thrilled to share that Anomaly has been shortlisted for the The John Marsden Book of the Year for Older Children (ages 13+) category at the 2025 ABIA awards!

Also shortlisted in this category: Comes the Night by Isobelle Carmody, Eleanor Jones Can’t Keep a Secret by Amy Doak, The Girl With No Reflection by Keshe Chow, Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma, and My Family and Other Suspects by Kate Emery.
